The fast 50 is our summer Wednesday night race ride, for the fastest riders in town.
The blend is based on the fragrance of late summer evenings ripping through dusty almond orchards and past fig trees dropping ripe fruit on River Road.
Guatemala coffee leads out with a smooth dark chocolate base, and the Ethiopia dry process coffee gives a final kick of dried berry. This comes through in the cup like chocolate covered dried blueberry or dried cherry.
Like modern elite coffees, this is roasted fast and light to highlight as much of the natural flavors of the coffee.
This coffee is best as pour-over but also fun as espresso.
Blend of 50% Guatemala Organic Huehuetenengo and 50% Ethiopia Dry Process Guji Buku.
